If the sudo find command did not locate the file, then the file does not exist under that name, or it only exists on external storage that's not currently connected to your Mac. The file might still exist in backups made prior to its disappearance. What happened to the file and when and why is not clear, but that file is no longer present under that specified name.

And as for what I mean, I mean that the All My Files checkbox is present in Finder Preferences in Sierra. The removal appears intentional, and (on searching) it's been discussed a few times. That's not something I've particularly used, so I hadn't noticed the change. It's possible to use a smart folder to regain capabilities very similar to that All My Files display.

Based on the report of the failed upgrade and the unexpected shutdown, I'd roll in the backups from immediately prior to the upgrade, and would try the upgrade again.
